Starmyu Season 3, the third season of the idol anime, continues the story of Yuuta Hoshitani and the other boys of the Ayanagi Academy. Yuuta, who finally made his dream of performing together with his admired senpai Itsuki Ootori come true, must now devote himself to his next goal. Day in, day out, he practices and trains in the music department of the Ayanagi Academy, because a whole new challenge awaits him soon—with the start of the second half of the year, the appearance of his class at the Ayanagi Festival is also on the agenda! And this time the boys have to go through it all on their own and can’t rely on the help and guidance of their senpais. But for Yuuta and the others it’s a welcome challenge—they put their heads together and work hard to become a real team and create the best show ever!

But with the appearance of the “Kao Council,” things are set to change … They get in the way of the second-year students’ plans and are pursuing their own goals. As such, they want to throw the previous programme of the Ayanagi Festival overboard and introduce a huge change: with the new “Opening Ceremony” the future candidates for the “Kao Council” shall be chosen, but in exchange for this honour the chosen ones are not allowed to take part in the performance of their class …

Starmyu Season 3, die nunmehr dritte Staffel des Idol-Anime, setzt die Geschichte um Yuuta Hoshitani und die übrigen Jungs der Ayanagi Academy fort. Yuuta, der endlich seinen Traum verwirklichen konnte, mit seinem bewundernswerten Senpai Itsuki Ootori gemeinsam auf die Bühne zu treten, muss sich nun seinem nächsten Ziel widmen. Tagein, tagaus übt und trainiert er in der Musikabteilung der Ayanagi Academy, denn auf ihn wartet schon bald eine ganz neue Herausforderung – mit dem Start des zweiten Halbjahres steht nämlich auch der Auftritt seiner Klasse auf dem Ayanagi Festival an! Und diesmal müssen die Jungs da ganz alleine durch und können sich nicht auf die Hilfe und Führung ihrer Senpais verlassen. Doch für Yuuta und die anderen ist das eine willkommene Herausforderung – sie stecken die Köpfe zusammen und arbeiten hart daran, ein echtes Team zu werden, um so die beste Show aller Zeiten auf die Beine zu stellen!

Doch mit dem Auftreten der »Kao Council« soll sich einiges ändern … Sie stellen sich den Plänen der Schüler des zweiten Oberschuljahres in den Weg und verfolgen dabei ihre ganz eigenen Ziele. So wollen sie das bisherige Programm des Ayanagi Festivals über Bord werfen und eine gewaltige Neuerung einführen: Mit der neuen »Eröffnungszeremonie« sollen nämlich die zukünftigen Kandidaten für die »Kao Council« auserwählt werden, doch im Austausch für diese Ehre dürfen die Auserwählten nicht am Auftritt ihrer Klasse teilnehmen …
